Our Story

A family's
legacy in leather

The story begins in 1972, when Giovanni Forzieri founded Art-Moda, producing artisan leather belts and accessories for some of the most prestigious English retailers.

His two sons, Simone and Massimiliano, grew up surrounded by hides, buckles, and the unmistakable smell of Tuscan leather. They trained in local tanneries, mastered the craft of Italian leather working, and in 1990 joined the family business — bringing with them a new vision for what handmade leather goods could be.

Today, Art-Moda continues to honour that legacy while embracing the demands of the modern market — blending the intimacy of family craftsmanship with the precision required by the world's leading fashion houses.
